Organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers are grown in raised beds, along with grain and greens for the poultry. The beds have greenhouse tenting for year-round production and drip irrigation. Fruit trees and bushes are also being developed. Bees are kept for pollination, honey is bottled raw, and beeswax produces candles, soap, and other products. Hummingbird and butterfly gardens provide special necessary plants. Instead of pesticides, organic oils and predator flies are used for insect control. Organic fertilizers and compost teas are also used.
