American Grassfed Certified Beef for Your Family
Choosing American Grassfed Certified Beef means choosing a product that adheres to strict standards set by the American Grassfed Association. Pasture Raised Beef for Nutritional Benefits
Pasture raised beef is known for its superior nutritional profile compared to conventionally raised beef. Our cattle graze on nutrient-rich grasses, resulting in beef that is higher in omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. Families in Chambers County can enjoy the health benefits of pasture raised beef, knowing that they are making a nutritious choice for their meals. Our beef is not only flavorful but also contributes to a balanced diet.
No Grain Finished Beef for Pure Flavor
At Lazy A Ranch, we take pride in offering no grain finished beef. Our cattle are raised entirely on pasture, which means they are never fed grains or fillers. Our no grain finished beef is a testament to our commitment to quality and transparency.
Alfalfa Finished Beef for Enhanced Quality
We also offer alfalfa finished beef, which provides an additional layer of quality to our products. Alfalfa is a nutrient-dense forage that enhances the flavor and tenderness of the beef. Meet Our Founder, Margot Heard
Margot Heard founded Lazy A Ranch in Bellville, Texas, with her husband Bill after purchasing the property in 2008. Margot’s passion for ranching and cattle work was influenced by her father, Tom Terry, a pioneering Texas farmer and cattleman. After a successful career in education as head of Saint Nicholas School in Houston, Margot and Bill decided to return to their roots in rural Texas. They began raising Akaushi and British White cattle under Holistic Management principles, focusing on animal welfare, pasture health, and high-quality grass-fed beef for families and local communities.
