Certified Grassfed Ranch Supporting Local Families
Lazy A Ranch is proud to be a certified grassfed ranch located in Bellville, Texas. Our commitment to sustainable practices means that families in Brazoria County receive beef that is not only good for them but also good for the environment. We focus on holistic management principles that enhance pasture health and animal welfare, creating a sustainable cycle that benefits our community.
Animal Welfare Beef for Peace of Mind
When you choose our animal welfare beef, you are supporting practices that prioritize the well-being of our cattle. We believe that happy, healthy animals produce the best beef. Our ranch is designed to provide a stress-free environment for our cattle, ensuring that they thrive on pasture. Families can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their beef comes from a source that values animal welfare.
Pasture Raised Beef for Healthier Choices
Our pasture raised beef is a healthier choice for families looking to improve their diets. Cattle raised on pasture have access to a natural diet, resulting in beef that is lower in fat and higher in omega-3 fatty acids. This means that when you serve Lazy A Ranch beef at your table, you are making a nutritious choice for your family.
No Grain Finished Beef for Pure Flavor
We offer no grain finished beef, which means our cattle are never fed grains. This practice enhances the natural flavor of the beef and ensures that it retains its nutritional integrity. Families in Brazoria County can enjoy a rich, robust flavor that only comes from cattle raised on a natural diet. Our commitment to quality means that every bite is a testament to our ranching philosophy.
Alfalfa Finished Beef for Optimal Nutrition
Our alfalfa finished beef is another option for families seeking high-quality protein. Alfalfa is a nutrient-rich forage that contributes to the overall health of our cattle. This finishing method results in beef that is tender and flavorful, making it a perfect choice for family meals. We take pride in offering options that cater to the diverse needs of our customers.

After a successful career in education as the head of Saint Nicholas School in Houston, Margot and Bill decided to return to their roots. They began raising Akaushi and British White cattle under Holistic Management principles, focusing on animal welfare, pasture health, and high-quality grass-fed beef for families and local communities.
